As if you weren’t already aware, animal print is all the rage this fall and python is no exception. Although any biology teacher I’ve had would cringe to hear me call a snake an animal, it’s just going to have to be accepted for fashion’s sake. Python looks fab when printed on a jacket, on a pair of skinny pants or on some slithery pumps. Pair it with neutral hues and you’ll have a look that looks great day or night, sexy or professional!

The temperatures are dropping and that can only mean one thing for fashionistas – time to seek out that major cold weather must-have – a winter coat! However, you might want to pass over those puffer jackets or fur coats or any topper in general that has sleeves. Wait, did you read that right? Yes, you did! The big coat of the moment is a cape – no sleeves and a great top layer to any fall/winter ensemble. So put on your cape and fly to your next event because capes are the kryptonite to any outfit debacle.

One major night-out essential for me is a great clutch. I have to make sure it matches or compliments my outfit otherwise everything is thrown off. But, that’s just me. Clutches have taken a hard hit – that’s to say they have transitioned from flimsy bags that we tuck under our arms, while our hands are busy holding drinks and posing for pictures (hand on hip, duh) to smaller, hard boxes that are so fashionable, we won’t want to hide them under our limbs but rather hold them out on display. Not only is one of my favorite singer’s (Taylor Swift) new songs titled “Red,” but it is also a very popular color to be wearing this season. The fiery, fierce shade is bold enough to make a statement but you can also use it as a pop of color to pull together an outfit. Red is great to wear around the holiday’s but I totally want to make it a more prominent color in my closet all year round!

I tend to shy away from many menswear-inspired trends because I am such a girly-girl ( I know, I hate me too). But one piece of fabric that has been taken from our lovely male friends’ closets that can totally be worn by us gals is tweed! I love this trend because tweed is such a polished, chic look and yet it adds a little masculinity and structured to an otherwise average feminine outfit. While statements are usually made by our clothing, why not let our feet do the talking for a chance! Shoes are usually the last pieces of our ensemble to be slipped on but now they are taking charge of the rest of what we adorn ourselves with thanks to shiny shoes! The high shine trend which I’ve spoken about before, has traveled it’s way down to our feet and I absolutely love it! The metallic gold shine will brighten up any dreary day and remind us of summer sun! The shiny glamour can be subtle with just a gold capped toe or heel OR it can be a completely gold shiny wedge or bootie.
