The color spectrum for this upcoming season is truly all over the place and includes pastels as well as darker hues and even punchy shades. Allover Stripes

One trend that seems to never go out of style is the famous print of stripes. Vertical, horizontal, or chevron print, stripes are found on tops, pants, jackets and everywhere in-between. This print is pretty, preppy and just presents the person who wears it as put together. It’s clean and crisp and definitely pulls together an outfit. See some of my favorite below.

Boyfriend Jeans

One of the best things to come out of the men we date are their clothes! All over we have seen menswear inspired looks – first the oversize men’s watch, then came the menswear tailoring of suits. However, the most wearable (and comfortable) look that comes from the boys are their slouchy, distressed, cuffed jeans. Pair them with some girly accessories (they look amazing with heels or booties) and not only will you be wearing the men’s pants, you’ll have all of them looking as well! Try to find a pair that isn’t TOO baggy – you still want to show off your shape. Here are some looks for inspiration!

Black & White & Mod All Over

Marie Claire recently had a photo shoot showcasing the ever-popular colors : black and white. The magazine paired some fabulous looks with a bob-sporting model. While I’m indifferent about the hair, the clothes speak volumes all by themselves. With graphic prints and sharp lines adorning suits, dresses and separates, black and white never looked so good. When changing to a new season, colors are a major factor to consider. This upcoming spring it’s all about pastel! These light and breezy colors will be seen head to toe, even for outerwear and accessories as well. Tory Burch’s new Resort 2013 collection makes me want to book a vacation somewhere, ANYWHERE – just as long as I can purchase all of these amazing looks to wear. With an overall preppy, laid-back feel, this collection has you covered from brunch in the morning to poolside all day followed by a romantic dinner at night. Lots of navy, seafoam green and purple adorn printed day dresses, printed pants and tunics. Don’t forget a great pair of wedges and a straw bag and you are ready for a fabulous getaway.

Get Your Tangerine On!

While we are still experiencing the chilliest of days, it’s not too early to look forward to exotic, sunny vacations and everyone’s favorite time of the year – summer! These upcoming warmer months have lots to offer, especially new colors and trends to try out. One of those colors is tangerine and it is popping up all over our accessories and extra add-ons. The Perfect It-Bag

I feel like something has been missing in my life. Oh, I know – I need a new go-to, perfect for every event, and super cute BAG! When I saw Michael Kors Large Fulton Pebbled Leather Satchels, I almost fell over and died because I had found it, the perfect bag. This bag comes in fabulous colors. It has a top handle as well as a strap – totally versatile. And finally, it’s roomy so I can store all my totally unnecessary items that I must carry around with me at all times. At a perfect price of $328, what else could you want besides Michael Kors himself to walk around with you, guiding you to the vey best styles and trends (wait, can that happen please?) Until that can actually happen, I’ll just take the bag for now…. But I’ll be waiting for you Mr. Kors.
